The PEM process is an advancement of
electrochemical machining that incorporates
pulse power and an oscillating cathode tool.

Precision shapes with excellent surface finishes are created with the PEM process. Although the surface finish is dependent on the material, extremely smooth surfaces as good as 1 to 4 µin Ra are achieved.
