Full-service contract manufacturer, MICRO, based in Somerset, NJ, commercialized a proprietary “MED processing” methodology which is made possible with PEM work cells. Using their PEM cells, they electrochemically dissolve material resulting in intricate, precision components such as multi-cavity anvils, pill press punches, implants with multi surface finishes, intricate turbine blades, micro-structured parts, fuel cell plates, and heat exchanger plates. The PEM infrastructure (which consists of 4 PEM cells) is an important focus of MICRO’s growing presence in the medical device market
